#191. Fresh outta high school
Welcome to the NRP. We are curating the best of those extremely-online extremists known as the "New Right."
🥩Beef of the Week🥩
> When Chris Rufo announced that a star indie reporter would be joining the Manhattan Institute’s effort to produce “right-leaning” media as a fellow, it turned out that up until a few months ago, the reporter wasn’t very right-leaning at all. Rufo knew, but it was her gender-critical reporting that counted most. Then, after a thorough mole analysis, some anon investigators in shadowy groupchats confirmed that she had a rather spicy past. But hey, she was “Fresh Outta High School” then. If we were a “Perky Redhead Hippy Slut,” we may have ended up “Seduced by a Real Lesbian” too. The moral of the story? His mercies are new every morning, BUT — as pretty faces finally begin to defect from the left in large numbers, maybe give them a few years to prove their conversion really took, and that transforming overnight into a right-wing e-girl isn’t another desperate bid for attention. In the meantime, there are plenty of smart, sensitive young men who are, instead of partying, studying the blade. Bet they’d love to be fellows, and yet this sort of thing keeps happening. Maybe hire those dorky guys next time instead.
