We’ve gathered the year’s funniest tweets using a very scientific process that in no way would allow for your favorite tweet to slip through the cracks. So just banish that thought from your mind. But if you insist that a tweet was overlooked, feel free to link it and make your case in the comments. Self-posting is encouraged, show us what you got, funny man.

One caveat. We didn’t start screenshotting tweets until April, rather we linked to them — because Elon allowed us to — but as a result, many of the year’s earliest bangers have been lost to the sands of time due to banned or deactivated accounts, or just user deletions. Too bad, so sad.
