I am surprised that there is no mention of the US Navy dropping its high school diploma/ GED requirement for recruits.

This has been an ongoing issue for those who for whatever reason can't or won't get Twitter accounts. We were using an archiving service but it failed, so I don't really have a good solution to this problem other than to suggest people get a dummy Twitter count that they only use for this purpose.

“Buckle up buttercup,” like all vocatives, mandatorily takes comma (“Let’s eat, grandma”; “Come On, Eileen”). How precisely does one take a buttercup in hand and “buckle” it “up”?
