#171. RIP to a race-real one
Welcome to the NRP. We are curating the best of those extremely-online extremists known as the "New Right."
🧵Threads of the Week 🧵
> Another black person shot dead by cops. Did she threaten them? Did she throw boiling water or just hold up the pot? Are those pixels steam? Should we really “crucify them?” Are we “bootlicking pussies” for thinking that maybe it’s not reasonable to expect cops to successfully deal with erratic, often violent people in situations that are this tricky, day in and day out? Which movie did you see?
> NRP Cub Reporter and Groyper Correspondent Ace investigated the latest claims against Nick Fuentes: Heavy allegations have been levied by beat reporters GuntNewsNetwork. Photographers couldn’t capture the dimly lit alleys around NYC’s Chinatown, however, there’s newly revealed correspondence between the voice of the Gen Z Right, Nick Fuentes, and a controversial digital network of edgy transwomen and their allies. Critics were quick to dogpile the implications between hyper-online rightist zoomers and the downtown degens, a critique that’s become too cliche to address. Regardless, it may draw questions between these two very different ecosystems. The arty East Coast and the racist groypers align for mild-mannered discourse in “The Dollhouse”. It’s the internet, darling. Don’t be so serious. If you're not trying to ruin employment opportunities or financially bankrupt the zoomers, why not show some love? Platonic love that is.
> Imagine having a massive tribute to human dynamism in your front yard. They’re hiring a based sculptor to do a bronze “Southern Futurist” monument for a new housing development in South Carolina. Extremely cool.
> Transhumanist quantified selfer Bryan Johnson had a fun night out and it was awful. (via
)> In New York City, rape is back on the menu.
> *Jeff Foxworthy voice* If ya think Kamala would make a better president on account of her credentials…ya might have Roastie Brain.
> Do you think it’s worth getting out of bed to do something courageous? I dunno, dude. Sounds a little…aggressively intentional (via
).>
thinks the battle for the White House is a battle over feminism itself.> Michigan Enjoyer and
want you to reject the ways of the bugman, and take on the crazy-ass spirit of the dunebugman.> Do you remember the time that Kamala forgot that she existed in the context of all in which she lives, and brought great shame upon her family?
> There’s a line that Trump’s a good guy who loves the country because he “doesn’t even need” the presidency. He could spend the rest of his life playing golf, but he’s choosing to fight. This line may be even more true about Vance.
🎥A/V of the Week🎥
NRP cub reporter Ace helped out with this week’s A/V and Reads sections.
>
and his scrumptious dimples make their facelord debut on Lotus Eaters alongside Sargon and about the circumstances of his doxxing and the cretins wot did it, among other things.> Peter Brimelow, editor for VDare, has resigned in the wake of the anti-white lawsuit against the company. They’re one of the only orgs to advocate for popular reforms for immigration and free speech, and despite Conservative Inc.’s resistance, their talking points have been mainstreamed — thanks in part to the few brave enough to support them, including Ann Coulter and Ryan Girdusky. The bravery it took to resist this long as the media tried to bankrupt them may inspire populist types to be more vocal about the gatekeeping on both sides of the spectrum. And Peter, thank you for keeping the hair.
>
and talk about the status of the Right and Christianity across the pond. It’s rough in America, can the Euros save themselves (and inspire Americans too)?>
and discuss a wide range of topics from the latter’s exhaustive report on activist Wikipedia admins record to Mormonism.> Are you “snake ass n___as” ready for some new music? Sam Hyde and Christ Dillinger return to the mic with a mild-mannered dissertation on women and a brief interlude on foreign policy.
>
and interview on his new book Woke Eugenics, about how the left adopts racist science to create an egalitarian dream world.📰Reads of the Week📰
> With Musk and Thiel cynical about democracy, where do we escape? Mars? Nick Allen examines a new frontier of urban expansion. The techy right has taken an interest in big federally-funded projects. As we remember those Americans that expanded the nation with purchases, isn’t it appropriate to have venture capitalists as the bold financiers of this century’s frontiersmen?
> Do we need more pseudo-history condensed into TikToks?
responds to a pagan misreading of history. The lack of Christian knowledge before the Reformation has allowed many isolated anecdotes to reframe the discourse.> Chronicles sees a parallel between NeverTrumpers and NeverVancers, however, there’s some irony there. Libertarian lore-knower
has done his homework on Vance’s ties to the Thiel network. Whether or not this tells us what to expect in the next Trump admin, it’s an extensive look into the spiderweb of the tech right and its interests. According to this reading, MAGA has become the Insane Clown Party. Is this ok?>
tries to resolve the disagreement between trads and secular types. Sexual morality as the ultimate litmus test allows both sides to understand their different prescriptions on the good life. This thesis on atheist philosophy resembles Evola’s indictment of the Beatniks. Both represent worldviews defined by negation and are postmodern in character. Modifications without a grand narrative. Ironically, they only have their counterpart to model. So, social utility strengthens the Christian thesis, while the secular types siphon from Christianity’s well.>
reminds us that the regime is still slipping. Don’t let the press and their Machiavellian maneuvering before the election cause dismay. It’s not like the Soviet Union where you had many people who could be swapped in to help the party. Instead, it’s a bunch of bureaucrats trying to look professional as their ideology and managerial status loses legitimacy. They show their nervousness on camera and that serves the Right.> Women have a role in the DR?
responds to ’s infamous article about not shaming promiscuous women. She posits that instead of leading men down the manosphere pipeline, millennials could agree to mentor them and the fairer sex may be eligible to help. It’s not about longhousing the Dissident Right, it’s about undoing the damage from the dating landscape.>
describes the movers and shakers orbiting the new GOP. A battle between the Old Guard and what he dubs the Tech Right doesn’t temper his free-market shilling in the slightest. As the populist side of the right emphasizes its social conservatism, Hanania implores readers that Reaganism is preferable. With new interest in left-leaning economics, the right should embrace this new acceptance of economic liberty, even if it’s unpopular among traditionalists.> Middle Americans wildin’ out?
speculates on how redneck frustration from the Tea Party to Occupy failed and then found a home in the MAGA crowd. They found a movement that could transcend the nihilism of American decline, but when that effort gets sabotaged… who knows what could happen. Could globohomo stop a boomer revolt?> With enough dumpster diving and paper trails,
’s doxxers finally got their man. Yet, the effort exposes those doing the exposés. When journalists want to ruin someone’s life, they have plausible deniability — they’re just doing their jobs. Therefore, if influential people want to hurt their opponents, they can instrumentalize journos as their personal vigilante squad.> With PredictIt, the 2024 election gets the DraftKings treatment.
analyzes political prediction markets. These don’t determine electoral results, however, they measure voter psychology. Rationalists get sucked in. They lay out compelling theses. Does that mean they know how the polling will translate to electoral victory? No.🐦Tweets of the Week🐦
There you have it, folks. As always, we are publishing All the Shit that’s Fit to Poast, twice a week. Follow us on Twitter to see our take on who posted the top thread, read and tweet, along with lots of other banter and hijinks between issues that you won’t see on Substack.
Just to clarify before I'm excoriated again for the next week and a half, lol: I don't really think Millennial women are the ones who would be most appropriate to be mentoring these young Zoomer dudes in my imaginary mentor/mentee world (unless those dudes actually wanted that), although after a few days of relentless pushback, I can see why people may have thought that's what I was proposing. I thought it would be better to have similarly-minded younger women around the same age doing it.
Thanks for sharing my post!
My wager is, Bryan Johnson gonna die of a heart attack at 57.
