Going on the weaponization of empathy, the week that those undercover footage of Planned Parenthood officials negotiating prices for fetal remain sales, that whole week or two, Jimmy Kimmel was crying about Cecil the Lion being killed in a legal hunt by some American dentist.
Secondly, I am patiently waiting for Basil's commentary of SPLC-hate-mapped E. Michael Jones's "Degenerate Moderns" and "Libio Dominandi."
Not just principle, but its a pragmatic decision as well. I will never accept the reframing of homosexuality as something other than degenerate and unrestrained sexual immorality, and it is inherently impossible to trust them. Throughout the episode there was a dismissive attitude about "men who fuck men" as this is an acceptable thing because the ship has sailed. That's just the ratchet in another form.
Additionally the comment about IVF. I could understand making a pragmatic argument to avoid talking about an unpopular issue before the election, but IVF is basically a rubber hitting the road point regarding abortion, dividing between the weak pro life position (abortion is bad because it decreases the population and discourages healthy reproduction) and the strong pro life position (abortion is bad because it murders a child). If its really the case, well IVF is making like 20 children and killing 6 at a time to get one or two alive, and keeping 10+ in freezers in a warehouse somewhere, which is ghoulish. It's hard for me to take seriously a gay who dismisses this with a wave of the hand because he says a couple other based things. If we have to be calculated and machiavellian about this issue then ok, but this is why I don't trust gays.

I'm a simple man. I accept no gays on the right.
A man of principle in our midst.
