It appears that nitter is dead, if you check the original GitHub... After this last set of rate limiting the security license expired. I've been having good luck with a different instance "nitter.freedit.eu", but have no insight into how stable these other instances are or the future of the project.
Yeah I've got a note in tomorrow's poast draft basically saying that we are moving back to direct Twitter links because even Nitter's various instances are too unreliable. Bummer.
